ТМК Participated in KIOGE 2009

TMK participated in the 17th annual Kazakhstan International "Oil and Gas" Exhibition and Conference (KIOGE 2009) which took place October 6-9 in Almaty. The exhibition is held annually under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan and the KazMunaiGas National Company, and is one of Central Asia’s largest and most influential trade events.

Some 520 companies from 30 countries as well as over a thousand delegates from all branches of the oil and gas industry took part in the 2009 edition of KIOGE. Along with TMK, well know companies such as KazMunaiGas National Company, the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, Gazprom, B.V. Chevron, CNPC, Invensys, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating, Lukoil, SOCAR, and Total also attended.

During the exhibition, TMK showcased its oil and gas product range and services. Specialists from TMK marketing and sales departments as well as from Kazakhstan-based ТМК-Kazakhstan were present at the exhibition where they conducted meetings and held talks with local pipe customers. Kazakhstan is currently amongst the world's top ten countries for proven recoverable oil reserves, providing TMK with good prospects for the further development of its relationships with oil and gas operators in Central Asia.
