TMK showcases innovations for the gas industry at SPIGF 2021

At the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF 2021), TMK has presented its innovative solutions for the gas industry and discussed the technological challenges associated with the production, transportation and use of gas fuel.

TMK’s display showcases products for hydrogen energy: stainless steel pipes that will be needed, among other applications, in the construction of blue hydrogen facilities and pipelines to transport hydrogen fuel. TMK’s display also highlights high-tech pipes with premium threaded connections for hydrocarbon production.

Forum participants and guests can use TMK’s interactive test bench to test a smart pipe developed by TMK together with Gazprom for online monitoring of trunk gas pipelines. The use of embedded sensors enables real-time assessment of the condition of various pipeline sections, detection of unplanned loads, and prevention of emergencies.

The Company’s delegation will contribute to the forum’s business program, discussing the development and implementation of advanced solutions for the gas industry during a session on the technological development of Gazprom. TMK will also hold talks with its key partners and sign a number of documents at SPIGF 2021.
