Late in April the regular annual meeting of shareholders of CJSC “TMK Pipe Metallurgical Company” with the participation of shareholders owning 100% of the Company’s shares, took place in Moscow. The decisions on matters due for resolving on annual meeting were taken, including approval of annual accounting statements of CJSC “TMK”, profit distribution and dividend payment, election of Board of Directors and of Auditing Commission of the Company, approval of chartered accountant, as well as of Provision on Board of Directors, and a number of other matters regulating the Company’s activity. The meeting of shareholders decided to leave the profits at the Company’s disposal. The composition of Board of Directors of CJSC “TMK” remained the same. Chairman of Board of Director was elected Brizhan A.I., who previously held this office. The participants of the meeting reviewed the results of the Company’s activity in 2003. During last year the production volumes at the holding companies grew per an average of 21%, the customers were supplied more than 2,5 million tons of pipe products, and 300 thousand tons of work stock, the Company’s plants smelted more than 1,7 million tons of steel. The consolidated sales earnings at the Company’s enterprises made some 48 billion rubles; the sales profits grew by 1.6 times as compared to the results of 2002, adding up to about 2,5 billion rubles. In 2003, the Company invested more than 1,5 billion rubles in equipment modernization and new technologies development, and allotted more than 330 million rubles for social projects and charity. The number of employees working at the Company’s enterprises remained the same -- about 50 thousand workers. |
