Balance of the work for 2005 in TМК

In December 2005 TMK shipped to consumers 246 thousand tons of various pipes, that is 17% more than that of the previous year. Steel production amounted to 167 thousand tons, 3,5% more than in 2004. TMK produced 35,5 thousand tons of commercial billets – 16% up as compared to the corresponding parameter of 2004.
The total volume of TMK’s pipe shipments in 2005 reached 2.855 mln. tons. It exceeds the volume of shipments of pipes in 2004 by 14%. During the year 2005 there were smelted 1.95 mln. tons of steel at the TMK’s enterprises. Increase in steel production amounted to 5%.
