Ecological policy adopted at TMK enterprises

The “Enterprise Ecological Policy” has been implemented at Sinarsky Pipe Works, Volzhsky Pipe Plant, Seversky Tube Works and Taganrog Metallurgical Works, affiliated to TMK. This document demonstrates the commitment of the largest manufacturers of pipe products to raise the effectiveness of its environmental activity aimed at improving the ecological situation in the regions where they operate.

The “Ecological Policy” creates the foundations for the continuous improvement of ecological indicators in terms of expanding and modernizing production, as well as assists the enhancement of the active Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO standard 14001:2004.

The realization of ecological policy is an intrinsic part of TMK’s strategic development. In 2005 the Company invested 130m rubles in the implementation of measures related to lowering the level of pollution in the atmosphere and reservoirs and reducing the formation of industrial waste.
