TMK sums up results of work for first 6 months of 2006

TMK has summed up the preliminary results of its production activity for the first 6 months of 2006. In the period January-June the Company’s enterprises shipped to consumers 1,459,000 tonnes of pipes of various types and 319,800 tonnes of commercial finished steel and section, which is accordingly 6.3% and 81.6% more than for the first 6 months of 2005. Since the start of 2006, 1,107,900 tonnes of steel have been smelted at TMK enterprises – 17.6% more than for the corresponding period of 2005.
