TMK participated at Offshore Technology Conference in Houston

TMK (LSE:TMKS), one of the world’s leading producers of steel pipes for the oil and gas industry, announces that it took part in the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC). The conference took place May 3-May 6 in Houston, Texas (USA). The OTC is the world’s largest annual conference dedicated to offshore oil & gas production. It hosted over 2400 companies from 35 countries.

The TMK booth featured a mixture of TMK and TMK IPSCO products including TMK’s Russian and ULTRA premium connections, large diameter line pipe and reelable seamless pipe. Interactive panels were held while technical information was presented in brochures, catalogs and CDs. Also on display in the TMK booth was an article from the May issue of Modern Metals magazine titled “Strength Under Pressure” which highlights the significant success of the ULTRA premium connections product line in the rigorous environments of the North American shale plays.

On Wednesday evening, May 7th, TMK hosted an event for its key customers and suppliers where Dmitriy Pumpyanskiy, TMK Chairman, and Piotr Galitzine, TMK IPSCO Chairman, spoke briefly about TMK’s global strength and extensive product offering. Representatives from major E&P companies included ExxonMobil, BP, Devon, Chesapeake, EOG Resources, Anadarko and others.
