TMK allocates RUB 100 million to the Stop Coronavirus! project

TMK is actively supporting the Stop Coronavirus! project, which is being implemented by the Sinara Charity Foundation. The company has allocated RUB 100 million to the Foundation to purchase state-of-the-art medical equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE) and hand sanitizer for hospitals in around 20 Russian cities where TMK and Sinara Group entities operate.

The Stop Coronavirus! project, which was launched this March, allows anyone to make a donation to support healthcare institutions and non-profit organizations that help elderly people who live alone.

The list of beneficiaries currently includes over thirty hospitals across Russia. The Foundation has purchased the most needed PPE, including medical masks, gloves, respirators, coveralls, disposable isolation gowns, face shields and hand sanitizer, on their behalf.

Hundreds of thousands of PPE items have already been donated. PPE has been delivered to healthcare professionals in Yekaterinburg, Kamensk-Uralsky, Orsk and Polevskoy. Masks and hand sanitizer have been delivered to Vereshchagino, Volzhsky, Zlatoust, Kaluga, Kartaly, Lyudinovo, Taganrog, Tayga, Tikhoretsk, Chusovoy and other cities in which TMK and Sinara Group operate.

“Thanks to the efforts of TMK and its entities, PPE items have been delivered in the shortest time possible. Information on hospital needs is being promptly updated. We thank our colleagues on the ground who work tirelessly to help keep the situation under control, providing a valuable contribution to the Stop Coronavirus! project. Today, it is extremely important to support healthcare institutions and professionals – all those who are fighting COVID-19 on the front line,” said Natalya Levitskaya, President of the Sinara Charity Foundation.

Anyone can support the Stop Coronavirus! project without leaving their home. Just scan the QR code on the project’s page with your smartphone to make a donation.
