TMK team takes part in the World Construction Championship

TMK took part in the first World Construction Championship established by the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation and the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom. A team of TMK’s Seversky Pipe Plant took fifth place in the Construction Project Management category.

The finals brought more than 500 professionals from the teams of major Russian and international companies, including construction companies, to Sochi, where between April 20 and 23, 2021, they competed in 19 categories for engineers and industrial workers.

TMK’s team chose the Construction Project Management category and competed against six Rosatom’s teams that had won the qualifying rounds. The participants were given two days to prepare online an implementation schedule for a building project in line with PMI’s PMBOK Standard.

The World Construction Championship was established in February 2020 to improve labor productivity and expand economic integration in industrial construction between Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union member states. TMK was part of the Organizing Committee for the event. In addition to the competitions, the championship offered an extensive business program and an opportunity for the partners to showcase their products.
