TMK becomes a strategic partner of a national environmental technology award

TMK has become a strategic partner of the National Environmental Technology Award ECOTECH-LEADER 2021 and will sit on its Supervisory Council.

The award is supported by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Spanning 22 categories, the award recognizes achievements in developing, embedding and promoting the best available technology in environmental protection and management.

Participating companies submit sustainability projects or solutions covering production process modernization, environmental safety, efficient use of natural resources, development of environmental programs, and minimization of environmental impact. The awards ceremony will be held in October.

We continue developing and implementing new programs to cut our carbon footprint, recycle waste and reduce its generation, and consistently decrease our resource consumption using the best available technology. Participating in the Organizing Committee of the ECOTECH-LEADER 2021 award offers us an opportunity to take a fresh look at our efforts in this area, share our experience and study best practices from our colleagues in other industries,” said Igor Korytko, CEO of TMK.

The Expert Council of the award includes representatives from federal authorities, the business community, development agencies and investment funds, scientific and environmental organizations, industry unions and associations.
