Taganrog Metallurgical Works (TAGMET), a TMK subsidiary, hosted a meeting of the Coordination Board for TMK and Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK).
TMK ran a number of events on its first Steel Safety Day at all TMK sites in line with the World Steel Association (worldsteel). This safety awareness day is aligned with the World Safety Day held by the International Labour Organisation on 28 April every year. The aim is to reduce the number of safety incidents and to raise safety and health awareness in the steel industry.
TMK's Board of Directors at the meeting on April 21 decided to convene an Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) which will take place on June 8, 2016 at the following address: Ekaterinbug, Rosa Luksemburg str., 51 at 12.00 (local time). The record date for the list of shareholders eligible to participate in the AGM shall be May 4, 2016.
At its Fifth Annual Conference held recently, the International Compliance Association (ICA) hosted an award ceremony to celebrate the winners of its Compliance 2015 awards. ТМК won an award in the Compliance Leadership category. The award was given to Vladimir Pribylovsky, Head of ТМК’s Compliance and International Trade Support Department.
A new unit, TMK-Central Asia, has been created in the Russian division of TMK. The new unit is made up of two companies: TMK-Kazakhstan (Astana, former part of the production and commercial unit of the company) and TMK-Kaztrubprom (Uralsk, removed from TMK-Neftegazservice unit).
