TMK took part in the Istanbul Boru - 2007

OAO TMK took part in the third international exhibition of the tube industry Istanbul Boru - 2007, which was organized in the city of Istanbul (Turkey) from 22nd to 25th of March, 2007. At the exhibition TMK presented the production potentialities of its enterprises of tube production, introduced the promising developments in the field of the high technologies, first of all, in the production of highly technological seamless pipes of natural gas assortment (OCTG) to the guests of forum. More than 150 companies of more than 25 countries of Europe, Asia and Africa, which demonstrated its latest achievements in the technologies and the equipment for the tube industry took part in the exhibition Istanbul Boru - 2007. More than 20 thousand guests visited the exhibition.

Rosneft and TMK Sign Strategic Partnership Agreement

OAO NK Rosneft (“Rosneft”) and OAO TMK (“TMK”) announced today that they have agreed to develop a long term strategic partnership. The agreement was signed in Moscow by Rosneft’s First Vice President Sergei Kudryashov and TMK’s CEO Konstantin Semerikov.

TMK Contract HAEUSLER AG to Supply Large Diameter Longitudinal Pipe Production Line

OAO TMK (“TMK” or “the Company”), one of the world’s largest oil and gas pipe producers and the market leader of the Russian pipe industry, announced today that it has contracted HAEUSLER AG of Switzerland, one of the world’s biggest producers of welded pipe production equipment, to supply a new facility for the production of large diameter longitudinal welded pipes.

Result of EGM

At an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM), which took place on March 2, 2007, in the form of a postal vote, the shareholders of ОАО TMK (“TMK” or “the Company”) duly approved the TMK Option Program. The resolution was supported by 84.7245% of votes cast.

TMK Acquires OAO RosNITI

OAO TMK (“TMK” or “the Company”), one of the world’s largest oil and gas pipe producers, and the market leader of the Russian pipe industry, announces today that it has acquired a controlling stake in OAO RosNITI, Russian Research Institute for the Tube and Pipe Industries, the only metallurgical scientific and technological research centre in Russia. Following the acquisition, TMK intends to create a central corporate scientific and technology research centre by integrating RosNITI with the Company’s existing research functions. The centre will consist of the Russian Research Institute for the Tube and Pipe Industries and the research divisions of the Company’s plants laboratories. The centre will be managed by the TMK’s s cientific and technical council, which is chaired by TMK’s Vice President and Chief Engineer Leonid Marchenko. “As TMK implements its strategic investment program, it is totally committed to the principle of aggressive scientific and technical development,” says Konstantin Semerikov, CEO of OAO TMK. “TMK pays particular attention to the development and implementation of leading edge technologies which not only meet today’s quality standards but are also designed for the future, keeping ahead of the demands of customers.” OAO RosNITI (Russian Research Institute for the Tube and Pipe Industries), located in Chelyabinsk and founded in 1961, is Russia’s only scientific research institute specialising in pipe production technology.

OAO TMK Trading Update

OAO TMK (“TMK” or “the Company”), one of the world’s largest oil and gas pipe producers, and the market leader of the Russian pipe industry, today provides the following trading update in advance of the publication of its preliminary results for the year ended 31st December 2006, which will be announced in May 2007. Overall trading for 2006 has been in line with expectations and revenues are expected to be approximately 3.3 billion USD. During 2006 the Company has experienced a material improvement in margins. In accordance with management expectations, the EBITDA margin for the full year, whilst not quite reflecting the same as for the first half of 2006, will represent a substantial increase in margin over the full year 2005. As previously stated, in 2006 TMK’s plants shipped more than 3 million tonnes of tubular goods, representing around a 3% increase over 2005. Within that figure, OCTG shipment volumes (products with higher added value) increased by over 16%. This growth was achieved at existing production facilities while the strategic investment program, which will add more than 1.1 million tonnes of seamless capacity by 2010, was being implemented.

OAO TMК took part in the international exhibition AustralAsian Oil & Gas Exhibition - 2007 (AOG, Australian-Asian exhibition of oil and gas), which was organized from 21st to 23rd of February, 2007 in the city of Pert (Australia). Within the limits of the forum TMK presented its developments in the tube production, first of all, in the production of highly technological seamless pipes of natural gas assortment (OCTG) to participants and visitors of exhibition. Exhibition AOG is one of the largest forums in the natural gas branch of Australia and countries of oceania. It is organized once for two years. The organizers of the performance are the ministry of natural resources of Australia and the association of oil and gas producers of Australia (APPEA). In 2007 more than 100 companies from about 40 countries of the world took part in the AOG.
